Prime Life are on the lookout for passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Full time well being carer/ Activities Coordinator
At present, we have several vacancies available and are keen to meet with candidates as soon as possible for interviews.
This role will be based at River Meadows Care Home, in the heart of Kineton. The home has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 41 residents, living with a range of age-related health conditions, physical disabilities and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team. Additionally, many of our residents are living with dementia and may require one-to-one assistance to maintain daily independence. It is essential that candidates for this role are patient, understanding and respectful of our residents’ individual abilities.
About this role :
As a Wellbeing Carer / Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the daily lives of our residents by planning and delivering engaging, meaningful and person-centred activities, while also supporting overall wellbeing, companionship, and social engagement.

Responsibilities include:
Planning daily activities that support residents’ social, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing
Scheduling trips and excursions in line with residents’ interests and hobbies
Providing companionship and emotional support to residents
Organising and participating in fundraising activities
Arranging entertainment within the home, such as musicians, performers and themed events
Maintaining accurate and timely records and documentation
Welcoming family members and encouraging participation in activities with their loved ones
What we’re looking for :
To be successful in this role, you will have a genuine caring nature and a passion for making a real difference in residents’ lives.
Prior experience of organising activities in a care or similar environment would be advantageous, however this is not essential as full training can be provided.
You should be:
Creative, enthusiastic and full of ideas
Well organised with good time management skills
A strong communicator with a friendly approach
Patient, understanding and respectful of individual abilities
Confident engaging with older people, including those living with dementia
